This role reports to the HOD - PED and plays a key role in driving process engineering activities, ensuring adherence to global standards, and supporting cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Ensure 100% safety of operator, equipment, and organization
Core Responsibilities and Activities
Development of new process, tooling, and equipment required for manufacturing new products with robust process controls in line with program timelines
Responsible for conducting manufacturing feasibility assessment and providing capital requirement on new RFQs by coordinating with cross functional team and global team through MSO review
Develop and modify line layouts, including material flow, waste reduction, and ergonomics, utilizing Lean Manufacturing best practices
Analyze and optimize production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in cost effective means while driving world-class quality levels
Champion continuous improvement projects to maximize yield, capacity, and capability
Monitor and audit manufacturing processes to ensure product specifications and standards are achieved and participate in development and maintenance of FMEAs and other process documents
Other Responsibilities
Diagnose issues found during the manufacturing process and drive corrective actions to root cause identification and elimination
Utilize structured problem-solving techniques such as DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why (5W) and Eight Disciplines (8D)
Develop and train technicians and assist in operator training as needed
Manage activities for process technicians to support daily production line coverage, including rework procedures
Devise ways to improve competency of team members through training and job allocation
Identify local vendors and evaluate their capabilities for cost-effective project localization
Role Requirements
Functional Competencies
PFMEA, PFD, CP, SWI, IATF audit requirement
Knowledge on jigs and fixture design with GD&T
Experience in AutoCAD and any 3D design software with design proficiency
Knowledge of PLC programming, Vision systems, Robotics, Hydraulic and Pneumatic troubleshooting (added advantage)
