The primary responsibilities are overseeing large project teams, developing ideas and concepts for an event, developing executable plans, overseeing operations, managing project timelines, directing staff, and coordinating technical and production teams.</p> <p>Strong relationship skills, service mentality and the ability to provide multiple options for solutions are essential to this role. They possess the ability to oversee multiple teams to successfully execute events. This is a management position that will supervise production teams while also overseeing overall event operations. An extensive background in event production is required and should have extensive knowledge in event design and layout, staging, lighting, sound, scenic elements, guest flow and timing, and overall event development skills.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Lead the execution of large and/ or complex projects:&nbsp;Lead in internal and external meetings including kick-offs, regular client meetings, internal status meetings and de-briefs;&nbsp;Define roles and responsibilities of the project team;&nbsp;Lead development of production schedule, project documents and organization of information;&nbsp;Participate in creative development</li> <li>Organize and manage communications between event team members</li> <li>Serve as a key contact for client communications</li> <li>Manage freelance resources</li> <li>Look for innovative solutions to production methods</li> <li>Budget Management &amp; ensure overall project health</li> <li>Develop Production Talent</li> <li>Oversee &amp; have knowledge of all production &amp; technical elements that go into an event</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred</li> <li>10+ years of proven event production experience required</li> <li>Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams</li> <li>5-7 years of management or supervisory experience</li> <li>Leadership and coaching skills</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Extraordinary organizational skills, self-motivation and intuition</li> <li>Thrive in a fast paced, agency environment</li> <li>Excellent computer skills Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, social media sites</li> <li>Thorough understanding of permitting standards (Including but not limited to TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health &amp; Safety, Building &amp; Safety, Noise, etc.) and ability to successfully oversee production timelines and needs as related to permit procurement</li> <li>Ability to effectively manage tasks across multiple projects/various clients at the same time</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Extra Credit</span>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with event niche (gaming and e-sports, broadcast)</li> <li>CAD NetSuite experience</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span>:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely and in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite</li> <li>Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions</li> <li>Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items</li> <li>Available to work weekends and evenings as needed for events</li> <li>Must be willing to travel internationally for projects throughout the year</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Location</span>:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We are a hybrid company with hub locations in Los Angeles, New York City, and London, UK.
