<p><strong>Position description</strong></p>
<p>This is a senior individual contributor role for an executive recruiter who knows how to run a search — independently, rigorously, and to a high standard. Your primary focus will be identifying and closing Senior Sales Executives in the US market for Janea Systems, a premium software engineering consultancy whose clients include Fortune 500 companies. You will also take on other executive-level hires as they arise across the business.</p>
<p>This is not a high-volume role. It is a high-judgement one. The Sales leaders Janea needs are a specific breed — enterprise hunters who can sell complex, bespoke engineering services into technical buyers. You will need to understand that profile deeply, build genuine relationships with passive candidates, and manage a search process that reflects the premium positioning of the company you represent.</p>

<p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own full-cycle executive search for Senior Sales Executive roles in the US market — from brief and scorecard design through sourcing, outreach, assessment, and close</li>
<li>Take on other executive-level searches across the business as they arise, adapting quickly to new role profiles and stakeholder contexts</li>
<li>Develop a deep understanding of Janea's business model, client profile, and competitive landscape — and translate that into a compelling pitch for passive senior candidates</li>
<li>Build and maintain a warm network of Senior Sales and GTM talent in the US technology services space, treating relationship-building as a continuous activity, not a search-triggered one</li>
<li>Design and execute multi-touch outreach strategies calibrated to senior, passive candidates — personalised, well-researched, and reflective of Janea's premium brand</li>
<li>Run structured, consistent assessment processes — ensuring every candidate is evaluated against the same criteria and that hiring managers receive clear, evidence-based recommendations</li>
<li>Manage candidate experience across the full funnel — every interaction, regardless of outcome, should reinforce Janea's reputation in the market</li>
<li>Track and report on search progress, pipeline health, and market intelligence — providing the Head of Recruitment and relevant stakeholders with clear, timely visibility</li>

<p><strong>To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven track record running senior or executive-level searches independently — ideally including Sales, GTM, or commercial leadership roles in the US technology or professional services market</li>
<li>Deep familiarity with the US Sales talent market: who the strong profiles are, where they sit, what motivates them to move, and how to reach them</li>
<li>Ability to own and manage a full search process without relying on downstream support — sourcing, outreach, assessment, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation</li>
<li>Strong executive presence and communication skills — able to represent Janea credibly to senior candidates and build genuine rapport at that level</li>
<li>High degree of self-sufficiency and accountability: you manage your own pipeline, deadlines, and stakeholder updates without prompting</li>
<li>Strong written English — your outreach, briefs, and candidate summaries should be crisp, professional, and persuasive</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Ideal candidates will also have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Background in boutique executive search, high-end IT services, or consulting-model recruiting environments where the talent bar is non-negotiable</li>
<li>Experience sourcing and closing candidates who are not actively looking — comfort with long-cycle relationship building and patient, strategic outreach</li>
<li>Familiarity with AI-powered sourcing and outreach tools that improve research speed and personalisation at scale</li>
<li>Experience adapting quickly to new role profiles and building role-specific sourcing strategies from a blank page</li>
