Experienced Commodity Trader

<p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <p><strong><em>We look for an Experienced Commodity </em></strong><strong><em>Trader </em></strong><strong><em>who has expertise in </em></strong><strong><em>the commodity markets</em></strong><strong><em>.</em></strong> Key skillset requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Sound understanding of the logistics and supply chain of commodity trading; understand the major factors that impact supply and demand; understand the behaviour of different players in the markets; understand the role currencies play in global commodity trading</li> <li>Deep understanding in the market structure and drivers of agricultural/ferrous/chemical/metallic commodities, including supply and demand, positioning, flow, etc.</li> <li>Has strong risk culture and understands limitations of fundamental research</li> <li>Strong trading mindset. Always think about how to convert research outcome into a tradable strategy and maximize the trading outcome</li> <li>Critical and data driven</li> <li>Have sharp eyes for opportunities, eager to learn and to improve</li> <li>Engagement in the industrial community, including producers, smelters, or downstream manufacturers</li> <li>Quantitative skillset is not required but a plus</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL NEED</strong></p> <p>To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have the below skills and experience.</p> <ul> <li>A strong track record of commodities trading</li> <li>Strong drive to make an impact on trading</li> <li>Ability to think critically and implement new ideas</li> <li>3+ years experience in commodities (preferred sectors: agriculturals/chemicals/metals/ferrous/new energy)</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Self-motivated and strong ability to learn</li> <li>Analytical and basic quantitative skills</li> <li>Collaborative attitude and continuous improvement mindset</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL GET</strong></p> <p></p> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="2196">A performance-based bonus structure unmatched anywhere in the industry.
