This position will be responsible for following the directions of the Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical maintenance and repair work.</p> <p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Observe, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes under the instruction of a skilled electrician.</li> <li>Demonstrate these skills and processes as on-the-job training progresses by working independently or with others to complete assigned tasks.</li> <li>Learn and understand the importance of safety within the workspace and across projects.</li> <li>Learn about the various tools and materials required for electricians to complete tasks and projects.</li> <li>Maintain good housekeeping and organization in the work area.</li> <li>Properly utilize the required tools and equipment for each specific task.</li> </ul> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.</em></p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required: </strong></p> <ul> <li>2–4 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience</li> <li>Strong understanding of the importance of quality work</li> <li>Detail-oriented with strong communication skills</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with others to promote efficiency</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p> <p>The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
