Senior Expert - 3GPP SA3 Standards

Huawei Heisenberg Research Center (Munich) is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

The European Standardization & Industry Development Department is searching for a 5G/6G network architecture Standards expert to be part of their multi-cultural and dynamic team of experts.

As part of Huawei standards team, you will be responsible for generating and evaluating innovative ideas for 5G network security standards. You will be in the forefront of security areas creating new solutions for future mobile communication.

Senior Expert 3GPP SA3 Standards (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Security expert in the area of mobile communication systems

• Experience from major standardization bodies e.g. 3GPP SA3/SA

• Strong security technique background of mobile system architecture Network, e.g. 5G AKA, SCAS

• Responsible for external communication with operators, standards organizations

• Responsible for observing the cyber security related regulations, e.g. CSA, CRA, AIA

• Representation at 3GPP SA3 meetings

• Insight and identify potential opportunities and challenges in the 5G certification industry regarding policy
  

Your areas of expertise

• Master or higher degree (preferred) in Telecommunications or Computer Science.

• At least 5 to 10 years of successful experience in tele-communication and security industry

• Good knowledge about mobile system trend, e.g. AI/ML, AI/ML security

• Excellent knowledge about security standards in 4G/5G

• Extensive and profound knowledge of core network and wireless communication system

• Strong communication skills and willing to work in a global team

• Be able to travel and attend meetings, forums and workshops with customers

• Excellent English skills
