Expert Technical BI/DWH Business Investigator

The Expert Technical BI/DWH Business Investigator will work closely with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. The candidate will be responsible for documenting, designing, and testing BI solutions (such as databases, reports, and dashboards), ensuring proper implementation and compliance with quality standards. The role also involves participating in the Agile process and contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Responsible for business requirements, write functional specifications, file feed specifications and implement solutions that drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results;

- Partner with Business and other IT Solution Architects to gain a deep understanding of the business processes and analytics requirements;

- Participate in an agile methodology to promote a disciplined process and faster adaptation;

- Translate business requirements into technical design solution;

- Responsible for designing and testing BI solutions that involve databases, data warehouses, ETLs, SQL queries, reports, and dashboards;

- Analyse the business requirements and their impact on the IT systems;

- Document & deliver the solutions using collaborative tools (e.g. Confluence & Jira) and meeting internal quality standards;

- Build and execute the testing strategy in order to fulfill the acceptance criteria.

Must have

- You have a bachelor's degree or qualifications in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study;

- You've got a combination of technical and banking business analysis skills at a minimum regular level (2 year-experience) obtained in IT project implementations

- You have experience in taking a business question or problem and turning it into an insight brief;

- You have excellent SQL / Oracle databases OR knowledge related to integration technologies

- You're good at quickly getting a grasp of any dataset that you're working with & support other analysts to do so;

- You have a good understanding of the business you quickly identify which metrics are relevant for an area and anticipate which data projects will add value;

- You have proven skills regarding BI/DWH architecture in terms of data models, data integration, reporting framework

- You have the ability to effectively form relationships with the business in order to help with the adoption of data-driven decision making;

- You're a self-starter you take initiative in spotting opportunities and finding ways to solve challenges with data;

- You have the ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment;

- You have the ability to deal with ambiguity & form ambiguous questions into defined solutions to improve the business area.
