About the role
A leading multinational organization in the construction and industrial materials sector: Export Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned export territory
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities
- Promote and specify the company’s solutions directly on-site to clients and partners
- Negotiate sales agreements and define commercial terms and conditions for each account
- Ensure profitability and sustainable growth across assigned accounts
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Logistics teams to support smooth order deliveries
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department on promotional and trade marketing activities
- Analyze market trends and identify new sales opportunities in existing and new markets
- Build long-term partnerships with architects, engineering firms, and specialist contractors
- Achieve monthly and annual sales budgets and performance targets
- Travel regularly within the assigned region to visit customers and points of sale
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on business development or sales experience, ideally within a technical or industrial environment
- University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Economics, or a related field; Business Administration is a plus
- Experience in the construction industry or building materials sector is considered an advantage
- Previous experience working in multinational organizations
- Fluency in Greek and French, with a strong understanding of French business culture
- Good command of English; Spanish is considered a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of product life cycles and market dynamics
- Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Flexible, adaptable, and results-oriented approach to work
- Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
