<p data-start="0" data-end="424">Peak Energy is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team and execute tasks within and around our Burlingame, CA facility supporting the physical plant, infrastructure, and overall company goals. This role will report to the Manager of Facilities, and the primary hours of operation will focus on supporting day to day prototype development activities.</p>
<p data-start="426" data-end="773" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">In addition to supporting the Burlingame site, this individual will play a key role in supporting the build out, expansion, and operational readiness of Peak Energy’s future manufacturing facility in Sacramento. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and scale facility operations in a fast paced, high growth manufacturing environment.</p>
<p><span data-contrast="none">As a Facilities Engineer, you will leverage your advanced background in the trades or an engineering discipline to execute tasks that make your fellow colleagues work effort safer, easier, and generally more effective. This position will own the Peak Energy Burlingame Facility site maintenance, utilities (electrical, compressed air, HVAC and exhaust, specialty gases, fire protection systems), and building envelope and architectural components (doors, roof, exterior grounds, office and kitchen FFE). </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="none">You will also act as primary site contact for external regulatory or AHJ inspections as well as support daily site operational activities including receiving and movement/handling of inbound materials, onsite hosting/support of process equipment vendor specialists, championing all safety regulations and a robust onsite safety culture, and general effectiveness of building operations. </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="none">You will execute building upgrade projects including utility upgrade/relocation for operations equipment installation, maintenance of site standards for the office, manufacturing, or facility exterior, and scheduled replacement for aged infrastructure obsolescence.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335557856":16777215,"335559685":0,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Assist or lead in the installation, operation, and maintenance of new and existing facilities utilities, building or production support equipment and physical plant assets and infrastructure.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Operate as a generalist in whatever is needed within the facility, whether that be contributing to daily prototype production, being an assembly technician, driving a forklift, fixing plumbing, etc.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Develop a schedule and keep track of inspection and maintenance tasks for all equipment and services using software or in-house scheduling tools.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Coordinate preventive and repair maintenance for all Peak Energy assets.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Contribute toward the development of written procedures, standardize on accepted and recognized good practices, and required support tooling for Peak Facility team success.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Supports general operations tasks including material handling for inbound and outbound materials utilizing a powered industrial forklift, truck, pallet jack, hand cart, or other suitable means. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Uses broad skillset to fix issues within the facility and only, if necessary, manage outside contractors for any specialty needs. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Attends site production meetings; identifies and executes project work to support evolving production needs in the timelines required for success of the product development or manufacture schedule.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Other duties as assigned.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Associate degree (or equivalent trade or craftwork experience) in a technical discipline and 5+ years of facility maintenance experience preferably in a lab, technology or manufacturing.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Forklift operator certification or ability to achieve within 30 days.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Knowledge of industry safety and equipment reliability best practices.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"><span data-teams="true">Mechanical, Electrical, Pluming Experience</span></span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">General maintenance/repair/troubleshooting experience with utility and infrastructure support equipment such as pumps, compressors, chillers, inert gas distribution, HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution/implementation.</span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="none">Structured problem‐solving and analytical skills. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<p><span data-contrast="none">The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000</span><span data-contrast="none">, with actual pay varying based on work location, experience, and skills.
