<p data-start="1288" data-end="1763">The Facility <em class="Highlight ht0516c86a-4873-478c-8fd4-fa8bb32b33a7">Controls Engineer</em> will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Lucid’s AMP-2 facility automated systems. You will design, program, commission, and maintain control systems that manage HVAC, <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">electrical</em>, <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">mechanical</em>, and other automated infrastructure. You will lead controls projects, <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">troubleshoot</em> complex issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize facility performance, reliability, and safety.</p>

<h3 data-start="1770" data-end="1783">You Will:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="1786" data-end="1936">Lead the design, development, <em class="Highlight ht0516c86a-4873-478c-8fd4-fa8bb32b33a7">programming</em>, testing, and commissioning of control systems including <em class="Highlight ht0516c86a-4873-478c-8fd4-fa8bb32b33a7">PLC</em>, DCS, SCADA, and BMS for facility <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">automation</em>.</li>
<li data-start="1939" data-end="2070">Develop and optimize control strategies for HVAC, <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">electrical</em> distribution, <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">mechanical</em> systems, and other critical infrastructure.</li>
<li data-start="2073" data-end="2202">Perform detailed <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">troubleshooting</em> and root cause analysis of control system failures and implement effective corrective actions.</li>
<li data-start="2205" data-end="2322">Maintain, update, and enhance existing control system software and hardware to improve reliability and performance.</li>
<li data-start="2325" data-end="2475">Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration and efficient facility operations.</li>
<li data-start="2478" data-end="2610">Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as control schematics, logic diagrams, system narratives, and operation manuals.</li>
<li data-start="2613" data-end="2709">Ensure control systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and Lucid policies.</li>
<li data-start="2712" data-end="2794">Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.</li>
<li data-start="2797" data-end="2906">Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and commissioning activities related to control systems.</li>
<li data-start="2909" data-end="3008">Support facility expansions, upgrades, and retrofit projects with controls engineering expertise.</li>
<li data-start="3011" data-end="3122">Coordinate with suppliers and contractors during control system installation, testing, and validation phases.</li>
<li data-start="3125" data-end="3195">Implement best practices in control system security and reliability.</li>
<li data-start="3198" data-end="3314">Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.</li>

<h3 data-start="3321" data-end="3335">You Bring:</h3>
<ul>
<li data-start="3338" data-end="3447">Bachelor’s Degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical and control Engineering, or Automation and Control Engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience.</li>
<li data-start="3450" data-end="3575">5+ years of hands-on experience in control systems engineering, preferably in facility management or industrial <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">automation</em>.</li>
<li data-start="3578" data-end="3677">Proven experience with <em class="Highlight ht0516c86a-4873-478c-8fd4-fa8bb32b33a7">PLC</em>, DCS, SCADA, and BMS systems design, <em class="Highlight ht0516c86a-4873-478c-8fd4-fa8bb32b33a7">programming</em>, and <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">troubleshooting</em>.</li>
<li data-start="3680" data-end="3754">Strong control logic <em class="Highlight ht0516c86a-4873-478c-8fd4-fa8bb32b33a7">programming</em> skills (ladder logic, structured text).</li>
<li data-start="3757" data-end="3845">Expertise integrating control systems with <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">mechanical</em>, <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">electrical</em>, and HVAC equipment.</li>
<li data-start="3848" data-end="3928">Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP).</li>
<li data-start="3931" data-end="3997">Familiarity with HVAC systems and facility <em class="Highlight htff1c4041-0af8-4c98-af43-5de64df0f788">automation</em> equipment.</li>
<li data-start="4000" data-end="4087">Knowledge of applicable safety standards and regulatory compliance (NFPA, OSHA, IEC).</li>
<li data-start="4090" data-end="4166">Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.</li>
<li data-start="4169" data-end="4228">Effective project management and leadership capabilities.</li>
<li data-start="4231" data-end="4316">Proficiency in creating technical documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.</li>
