Facilities Maintenance Technician responsibilities include scheduling preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and maintains the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.</p> <p><strong><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW52039302 BCX8">Please note: This position requires 100% in-office presence in our&nbsp;</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW52039302 BCX8">Jacksonville, FL</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW52039302 BCX8">&nbsp;</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW52039302 BCX8">offices and does not offer remote work. Shift hours are from 6am - 2:30pm ET.</span></strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p>· Ensures that all safety equipment (Fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, etc.) are kept updated, meeting current building codes and in proper working order.</p> <p>· Performs routine preventative maintenance on buildings, and safety and service equipment.</p> <p>· Maintains records on company vehicles and insures proper maintenance is performed.</p> <p>· Maintains records on equipment and facilities of maintenance performed by other qualified trades persons.</p> <p>· Coordinates annual maintenance and inspection of engine generator.</p> <p>· Establish and maintain maintenance procedures for facility fabrication and assembly equipment.</p> <p>· Establish and maintain procedures for disposal of shop items and equipment waste of environmentally sensitive materials such as waste oil, shop rags, etc…</p> <p>· Ensures facility equipment is installed and maintained in a safe manner.</p> <p>· Manage janitorial and cleaning services.</p> <p>· Track and manage scrap materials and recycling.</p> <p>· Perform other related duties which may be required by supervisor.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p>· 4-6 Years in Facilities Management.</p> <p>· Forklift certified and training authorized.</p> <p>· Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.</p> <p>· Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.</p> <p>·&nbsp;Organization skills including attention to detail, multitasking, and time management</p> <p>· Strong problem-solving skills</p> <p>· Excellent written and verbal communication ckills.</p> <p>· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL</strong></span>:</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <p>Activities: Sitting – 20% Walking/Standing – 80%</p> <p>Lifting: Continuously lift up to 50 lbs.</p> <p>Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, and climb.</p> <p>Vision: Ability to see small or detailed items.</p> <p>Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</p> <p>Environment: Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled.
