Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).</span></p> </blockquote> <hr></div><h2><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">Echodyne is seeking a Facilities Technician II to join our fast-growing team.&nbsp;</span></h2> <h3>The Facilities Technician II supports mission-critical facility operations in a high-tech radar manufacturing and engineering environment. This role ensures the reliability of infrastructure supporting RF labs, clean/controlled spaces, and precision manufacturing areas. The technician performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across facility systems, with a strong focus on minimizing disruptions to sensitive radar testing and production activities.</h3> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>Maintain and repair facility systems supporting manufacturing and engineering operations, including: <ul> <li>HVAC systems supporting temperature and humidity control for RF labs and production spaces</li> <li>Electrical distribution systems (including clean power and UPS systems for sensitive equipment)</li> <li>Compressed air, vacuum systems, and specialty gases (if applicable)</li> <li>ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls and grounding systems</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support infrastructure critical to radar development and testing: <ul> <li>RF shielded rooms / anechoic chambers (basic upkeep and issue identification)</li> <li>Lab exhaust, ventilation, and environmental stability</li> <li>Equipment power drops, cable management, and workstation setups</li> </ul> </li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance and calibration support to ensure environmental stability for precision electronics and radar systems</li> <li>Troubleshoot facility-related issues impacting engineering labs and production uptime</li> <li>Respond to urgent facility issues that could impact testing, calibration, or manufacturing schedules</li> <li>Use CMMS to track work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and compliance records</li> <li>Partner with engineering teams to support lab modifications, new equipment installs, and facility upgrades</li> <li>Coordinate and oversee specialized contractors (HVAC, electrical, cleanroom, RF shielding vendors)</li> <li>Serve on the Echodyne Safety Committee and ensure compliance with: <ul> <li>OSHA and workplace safety standards</li> <li>Environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements</li> <li>ITAR and facility access control protocols (as applicable)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives without compromising lab performance</li> <li>Participate in on-call rotation for critical facility issues</li> </ul> <h3><strong><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color="">REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE</span></strong></h3> <ul> <li>Associate’s degree or technical certification in Facilities Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li> <li>3–6 years of experience in facilities maintenance in a high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment</li> <li>Working knowledge of: <ul> <li>HVAC systems with tight environmental tolerances</li> <li>Electrical systems, including clean power and backup systems</li> <li>Mechanical systems supporting lab and manufacturing operations</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience using CMMS systems</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, precision environments</li> <li>High attention to detail, especially in environments sensitive to temperature, vibration, and electrical noise</li> <li>Ability to prioritize work that directly impacts engineering and production schedules</li> <li>Effective communication with engineers, technicians, and leadership</li> <li>Strong safety mindset and adherence to compliance requirements</li> </ul> <p></p> <h3><span style="color: rgb(0, 92, 185);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE&nbsp;<br>(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)</strong>&nbsp;</span></h3> <ul> <li>Experience supporting RF labs, electronics manufacturing, or test environments</li> <li>Familiarity with: <ul> <li>Anechoic chambers or RF shielded environments</li> <li>ESD controls and requirements for sensitive electronics</li> </ul> </li> <li>EPA certification (HVAC refrigerant handling)</li> <li>Electrical license or apprenticeship</li> <li>Experience working in ITAR-controlled or security-sensitive environments</li> <li>Basic understanding of PLCs, building automation systems (BAS), or SCADA systems</li> </ul> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li> <li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, and ladder use</li> <li>Ability to work in lab, office, and manufacturing environments</li> </ul> <h3 style="line-height: normal;"><span style="color: #005cb9;" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li>High-tech manufacturing and engineering facility supporting radar development and production</li> <li>Mix of
