About the role

<p>At i360technologies, we specialize in business consulting and technology services for federal agencies. We are seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Federal Financial Management SME</strong> to support a large-scale modernization effort to consolidate legacy financial systems into a unified, cloud-based Core Financial System. <br><br>This role focuses on&nbsp;<strong>financial process transformation, compliance alignment, and functional support</strong> across multiple federal agencies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in <strong>federal financial management, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance</strong>, and will play a key role in shaping business processes, supporting system implementation, and ensuring audit readiness.</p> <p>This position ensures that all financial processes, system configurations, and outputs comply with <strong>federal financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements</strong>, while supporting the transition to a <strong>standardized, SaaS-based financial management environment</strong>.</p> <p data-section-id="165gfiz" data-start="1112" data-end="1140"><strong data-start="1116" data-end="1140">Key Responsibilities<br></strong><strong>Business Transformation &amp; Process Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and support <strong>Business Process Reengineering (BPR</strong><strong>)</strong> efforts across Treasury and partner agencies</li> <li>Standardize financial processes and align legacy operations to the <strong>OneFM Core Financial System</strong><strong> </strong><strong>baseline</strong><strong> </strong></li> <li>Define and validate:</li> <ul> <li>Financial business processes</li> <li>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</li> <li>Internal controls</li> </ul> <li>Provide functional support across ERP domains including <strong>General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Budgeting</strong><strong> </strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support preparation of federal financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&amp;L, etc.)</li> <li>Ensure alignment with <strong>Treasury reporting requirements and federal standards</strong></li> <li>Assist with: <ul> <li>Audit readiness activities</li> <li>Audit remediation (e.g., Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), material weaknesses)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Data &amp; Migration Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Guide <strong>Chart of Accounts (COA)</strong> alignment and financial data structures</li> <li>Validate data mapping, conversion accuracy, and reconciliation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Testing &amp; Validation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support <strong>System Integration Testing (SIT)</strong><strong> and </strong><strong>User Acceptance Testing (UAT)</strong></li> <li>Validate financial scenarios and ensure compliance with federal financial requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Treasury, BFS, and federal agency stakeholders</li> <li>Translate business needs into system requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training &amp; User Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support development of:</li> <ul> <li>Training materials</li> <li>User guides</li> </ul> <li>Provide functional and compliance guidance to end users</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="1oxfx0t" data-start="2151" data-end="2182"><strong data-start="2155" data-end="2182">Qualifications</strong></h3> <p data-section-id="f6wbtj" data-start="3287" data-end="3330"><strong data-start="3291" data-end="3330">Security &amp; Eligibility Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust (suitability) clearance</li> <li data-start="3420" data-end="3477">Must be able to pass a federal background investigation</li> <li data-start="3480" data-end="3562">U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (no visa sponsorship available)</li> </ul> <h4 data-section-id="f6wbtj" data-start="3287" data-end="3330"><strong data-start="3291" data-end="3330">Benefits</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Holidays - Eleven&nbsp;</li> <li>Retirement Plan (401k) Matching</li> <li>Short-Term &amp; Long-Term Disability</li> <li>Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary &amp; AD&amp;D)</li> <li>Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental &amp; Vision)</li> <li>Paid Time Off (0-3 years - 15 Days PTO | 3+ years 20 Days)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability</strong><br>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or status within any other protected group.<br><strong>Only direct applicants will be considered.
