About the role
- Develop FF&E concepts aligned with project design direction and client requirements.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, and FF&E presentations.
- Select furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, accessories, and decorative items.
- Create detailed FF&E specifications, schedules, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, suppliers, and contractors.
- Source products and negotiate with vendors and manufacturers.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for approval.
- Monitor procurement timelines, deliveries, and installation processes.
- Ensure design quality, functionality, budget compliance, and project deadlines.
- Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and global design innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in FF&E design within interior design or fit-out companies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing hospitality, residential, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture manufacturers, and procurement processes.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with luxury or high-end projects is highly preferred.
