<p><span data-contrast="auto">Under the general supervision of the Field Service Manager, this position exists to drive a lube truck and performs off-site lubrication by servicing, completing preventive maintenance work on heavy equipment; performing minor mechanical field repairs on equipment; maintaining records and preventive maintenance schedules for assigned equipment. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></p>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6,"469777462":[360,1440],"469777927":[0,0],"469777928":[1,1]}"> </span></p>
<ol>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Drives a lube truck to various locations and performs servicing on diesel powered vehicles and equipment by fueling, lubricating, changing oil, changing air and oil filters, and checking and adding fluids, including windshield washers, transmissions, cooling systems, brakes, and differentials. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Performs all requirements found in any Caterpillar Lubrication & Maintenance Guide.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on brake adjustments, leak repairs, removal and installation of radiators and thermostats and replacing hoses, fan belts, alternators, regulators, and batteries. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Makes any necessary adjustments on engines as well as to the components in the various systems. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Replaces heavy equipment components including grader blades and cutting edges. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Provides mechanical preventive maintenance information by answering questions and requests.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Makes warranty recommendations and reports in representation of a CAT product. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two-year’s experience in performing servicing, preventative maintenance, vehicle and equipment inspection work including mechanical repairs on automotive or diesel equipment vehicles; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335551550":6,"335551620":6}"> </span></li>
