Field Service Mechanic

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Kimball Equipment Company,<strong> a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946</strong>, is actively recruiting for the position of field service mechanic in our Cedar City location.</h2> <p style="text-align: center;">Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as <strong>Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, </strong>and <strong>Superior Industries</strong>.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Daily work on crushers, screens, conveyors</li> <li>Interaction with customers on-site for repairs</li> <li>Diagnose and repair various heavy equipment machinery <ul> <li>utilize all technical support resources in troubleshooting and identifying parts needed for repair</li> </ul> </li> <li>Organize and document service visits and travel as applicable</li> <li>Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize work with minimal supervision</li> <li>Inspect crushers, screens, conveyors</li> <li>Cleaning crushers, screens, conveyors</li> <li>Drive motor vehicles - <em>reliable transportation required</em></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Crusher or Heavy Equipment experience&nbsp;<em>preferred&nbsp;</em></li> <li>Basic knowledge of MSHA regulations</li> <li>Must be able to lift <strong>40lbs</strong></li> <li>Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask</li> <li>Familiarity with shop and field safety protocols</li> <li>Technical school certificate <em>or </em>equivalent experience</li> <li>Commercial Drivers License (<span style="text-decoration: underline;">CDL</span>) <em>or </em>ability to obtain a CDL</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><em>Pay based on experience</em> (<strong>$26.00-$35.00/hr </strong>starting)</li> <li>Full benefits include <strong>401K, PTO (paid time off), health, dental, vision, </strong>and <strong>life insurance</strong>.</li> </ul>
