About the role
Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical, filing, records management, and general administrative support duties
- Support Government operations in a high-volume documentation and records environment
- Conduct file operations and maintenance, including organizing, storing, consolidating, and retrieving records
- Create, update, and maintain physical and electronic file systems in accordance with Government standards
- Respond to file and document requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Scan, index, and upload large multi-page documents into designated systems
- Ensure files are properly labeled, secured, and stored according to established procedures
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive and regulated materials
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (PT-3) clearance
- Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles
- Experience supporting Government operations or working in a high-volume documentation environment
- Strong reading comprehension and English language proficiency
- Ability to manage and organize large volumes of files with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable and professional when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and reaching
