About the role
Responsibilities:
- Perform file operations, including storage, maintenance, interfiling, consolidations, and responding to file requests.
- Update Government systems with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct routine audits of file rooms and travel to additional Government facilities as needed for audit support.
- Connect incoming correspondence to existing files and ensure proper organization.
- Scan high‑volume, multi‑page documents.
- File naturalization certificates and notices and support closeout of citizenship ceremonies.
- Assist with forms and application processes connected to federal adjudication procedures.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance through a Government agency.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more.
- Ability to perform work that requires mobility and repeated physical activity.
- Strong ability to read and understand English proficiently.
- Capability to manage physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
- Familiarity with administrative procedures and documentation workflows.
