About the role
Senior Finance Accountant
1. Financial Reporting & Closing
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain compliance with PFRS and company policies
- Oversee GL reconciliations and account analysis
- Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure proper classification and recording of transactions
2. Audit Support
- Lead the preparation of schedules for internal and external audits
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies
3. Compliance & Taxation
- Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies
- Prepare necessary documentations and review BIR tax returns
- Properly report transactions on the government tax payments
- Ensure compliance with BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) requirements
- Experience handling BIR audits is an advantage
4. Regional support
- Prepare reporting documentation as required by region / PH internal team
General Requirements:
- Licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- With at least 4 years of extensive accounting experience
- Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, audit management and corporate tax filing
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite, SAP, etc)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
