About the role
Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and its team members. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, reporting, and overall departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with the daily operations of the Finance Department
Posting journals and processing purchase and sales invoices
Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Creating, issuing, and following up on sales invoices
Processing supplier and consultant payments in a timely manner
Liaising with suppliers and consultants to resolve payment queries
Printing, saving, and filing invoices and other financial documentation
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Supporting the audit process as required
Preparing monthly and ad hoc financial reports
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
AAT qualification or early-stage ACCA studies preferred
Ability to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and analytical skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
