Job Title: Finance Lead

Department: Finance

Location: Warri

Directly Reports to: Senior Accountant - Payables and Inventory

Indirectly Reports to: Country Finance Manager.

Job Accountabilities

• Oversees the Accounts Payable processes for all Field operations and Manpower service providers
• Performs treasury functions such as payment requisitions and oversees the petty cash & cash advance processes for Field operations
• Monthly and annual accruals Management and review for Field operations and related activities
• Creditors ledger management
• Journals management, Open Item Managed Account allocations
• Liaison with internal & external stakeholders on finance-related matters
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Any other finance activities as assigned by manager.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
• Excellent financial skills using tools such as Excel.
• SUN System User preferred
• Proficient in financial accounting principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry (a plus).
