The focus of the role is to provide a high degree of financial transparency and business modeling across the company and facilitate business decision coordination with all departments. If you are detail-oriented, proactive and enjoy a challenge then we want to talk with you!    Responsibilities: <ol> <li> Planning, Target Setting & Cost Modeling <ol> <li>Define and track material cost targets, including vendor tooling and supplier risk</li> <li>Establish commodity / part-level cost targets aligned with the business plan</li> <li>Ensure accuracy and governance of Bill of Materials (BoM) structure and costing</li> <li>Manage BoM tracking to ensure structure accuracy and sourcing alignment</li> <li>Maintain vehicle / model-level cost targets based on volume mix</li> <li>Develop and validate cost models, incorporating raw material, weight, sourcing, and engineering/design changes</li> </ol> </li> </ol>   <ol> <li> Financial Reporting & Variance Analysis <ol> <li>Prepare monthly financial reports (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast)</li> <li>Perform variance analysis and provide root cause insights</li> <li>Consolidate and reconcile financial data across planning cycles</li> </ol> </li> </ol>   <ol> <li> Investment Analysis & Business Case Development <ol> <li>Develop ROI / NPV analysis for supplier investments and cost optimization initiatives</li> <li>Build profitability models, including payback period and return metrics</li> <li>Support senior management decision-making through structured financial evaluations</li> </ol> </li> </ol>   <ol> <li> Cost Optimization & Benchmarking <ol> <li>Conduct benchmarking studies to evaluate cost competitiveness</li> <li>Support cost reduction initiatives (e.g., TVM, Change Control)</li> <li>Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements</li> </ol> </li> </ol>   <ol> <li> Business Partnering & Decision Support <ol> <li>Partner with Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations teams</li> <li>Support material demand planning and sourcing strategies</li> <li>Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations for key decisions</li> </ol> </li> </ol>   Required Skills:  <ul> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.</li> <li>Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.</li> <li>Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills</li> </ul>   Minimum Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field</li> <li>Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) – preferred</li> <li>At least 10 years’ relevant experience</li> <li>Proven technical, quantitative and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to management</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results</li> <li>Established ability using Microsoft Office software with a high proficiency with Excel</li> <li>Finance analyst experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier – a huge plus!</li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion"><div> Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive <a href="https://mylucidbenefits.com/">benefits package</a> including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
