Finance Director

<p><strong>Job purpose:</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Regional Finance Director core responsibility is managing the finance and accounting process and reporting of the companies performance</span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">S</span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">/</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">he will also be responsible for developing a great team and instilling a positive culture in the office, working directly with local accounting teams and providing data to the business managers. S</span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">/</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">he will report directly to the CEO and s</span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">/</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">he will also have many interactions with cross</span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">-</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">functional teams such as Project Managers, Commercial &amp; Operations team and etc</span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></em></p> <p><strong>Duties </strong><strong>and responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsible for group financial reporting which include monthly closing of the books, preparation and on-time submission of monthly Management Report Produce and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles to specific deadlines.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">To develop and implement the accounting policies of the group to ensure accurate reporting.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">To control, monitor, maintain and creation of GL accounts/cost elements in the Group Chart of Accounts, Profit and Cost Centers structures.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Help develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personal and financial information is secure among the group</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure compliance of accounting, taxation and risk management procedures with the latest public standards as well as proper internal control systems.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Plan and coordinate for the annual statutory audit at Group level and its subsidiaries</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assists the CEO and regional leadership teams as needed in annual budget prep</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">arations and monthly forecasts</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain and develop insightful financial and operational metrics</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications include:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At least 8+ years of experience in Accounts/Finance including full sets of accounts</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">2-4 years of professional accounting experience in Big Four is a big plus</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Comprehensive Knowledge of finance, full sets of accounting, budgeting/forecast, tax matters, and internal control principles</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to analyze financial data &amp; Explains related variances to plan and forecast.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Directs the enactment of all Finance department policies and procedures and monitors for adherence.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provides motivation, direction, and leadership for Finance team and adheres to the policies and standards of the Company.</span></li> </ul>
