We are looking for an experienced and driven Finance Director to lead the finance function of our Gibraltar-based subsidiary, part of WinVia, an international group operating in the Gambling and Competitions Industry.

This is a high-impact role offering exposure to senior leadership, reporting directly to the  MD and working closely with the VP Finance (Group) and playing a key role in shaping the financial direction of the business.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

As Finance Director, you will take full ownership of the finance function in Gibraltar, ensuring robust financial management, accurate reporting, and full regulatory compliance.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead all accounting activities and oversee the financial process including monthly reporting, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
• Deliver accurate and timely statutory and Group reporting and ensure full regulatory and tax compliance;
• Drive business performance through analysis of revenue, margins, customer metrics (CAC, LTV), and ROI
• Manage cash flow and monitor prize fulfilment costs to protect profitability
• Oversee payment processing, AML compliance, and financial risk (including chargebacks and refunds)
• Lead and develop the local finance team, while contributing to the strengthening of the wider finance function
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders by supporting commercial decisions, product development and supplier negotiation
• Enhance internal controls and drive continuous improvement of financial processes

 

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a hands-on finance professional who can perform well in a dynamic, fast-growing international environment:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role (Finance Director / Senior Controller / Senior Finance Manager)
• Strong technical accounting background (IFRS and group reporting)
• Experience in regulated industries (gaming, fintech, payments) is a plus
• Track record of working within international group structures
• Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to drive improvements
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Experience in working with NetSuite (is  a plus)
