<p></p> <h3><strong>Join Our Team as a Finance Lawyer at Axiom</strong></h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">We are currently seeking&nbsp;<strong>Finance Lawyers </strong>to join our legal support team and provide legal counsel to our Fortune 500 clients.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"></p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Advise on a broad range of financial services, banking, investment management, capital markets, and securities-related matters.</li> <li>Draft, review, and negotiate financial and commercial agreements, including investment, trading, brokerage, derivatives, fund, lending, and related transactional documentation.</li> <li>Provide legal and regulatory guidance regarding financial products, investment activities, market practices, and applicable Canadian and international regulations.</li> <li>Support business, compliance, risk, and operational teams by identifying legal risks and developing practical solutions aligned with business objectives.</li> <li>Monitor regulatory developments and assist with regulatory inquiries, examinations, audits, and compliance initiatives.</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd"></p> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Licensed to practice law in at least one Canadian province.</li> <li>5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, capital markets, investment management, securities, derivatives, funds, brokerage, or related areas.</li> <li>Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex financial and commercial agreements.</li> <li>Familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks and the legal considerations affecting financial institutions, asset managers, investment firms, broker-dealers, or related organizations.</li> <li>Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per year<strong> </strong>and for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year.
