Overview:
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to report to the Group Finance Director. The role involves overseeing financial accounting operations and management reporting, including financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Finance Director in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
- Review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and budget variance analysis for the Group.
- Coordinate and lead the Finance Managers of subsidiaries to perform group financial activities.
- Ensure all financial, accounting, and analytical reports are prepared according to management policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate, participate, and deliver insights into financial reports in management meetings and board meetings.
- Manage relationships with external auditors for financial audits.
- Complete and submit all GST returns and ensure compliance.
- Review CIT returns to be submitted by the Tax Agent.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, analysis, and presentation to Management.
- Oversee the costing function for the manufacturing activities in Singapore.
- Supervise local and overseas Accounts staff with the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities.
- Perform any other tasks as the need arises.
- Some travelling within Asia is required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably with strong exposure to cost accounting/costing functions and team supervision responsibilities.
- Prior working experience with Microsoft Business Central is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders of all levels.
- CA/CMA membership or equivalent would be an added advantage.
- Manufacturing exposure, whether in current or previous roles, is a must.
