While today's AI largely operates through chat boxes and decade-old devices, Hark is focused on what comes next: agentic systems that interact naturally with people and the real world.</p> <p>To get there, we're developing multimodal models and next-generation AI hardware together - designed from the ground up as a single, unified interface for a new era of intelligent systems.</p> <p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Hark is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to play a crucial role in the development and strategy of all facets of our Finance department.&nbsp; This person will be responsible for wearing many different hats and handling various Finance functions to ensure the smooth operation of our organization, such as accounting, accounts payable/receivable, budget forecasting, and more.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity for an individual who excels at scaling systems efficiently and thrives in an environment where they are the one authoring the playbook rather than following one.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management</li> <li>Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis</li> <li>Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives</li> <li>Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports</li> <li>Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements</li> <li>Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports</li> <li>Conduct profit and cost analyses</li> <li>Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations</li> <li>Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership</li> <li>Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests</li> <li>Maintain the financial health of the organization</li> <li>Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience working in corporate finance and accounting</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus</li> <li>Proven experience as an accountant for financial professional or in a similar role</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices</li> <li>Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting</li> <li>Proficient in the use of MS Office, Google Workspace and financial management software</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to strategize and solve problems</li> <li>Strong leadership and organizational skills</li> <li>Excellent analytical and numerical skills</li> <li>Sharp time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience at fast paced hardware technology companies</li> <li>Has relevant finance and accounting certifications</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $200,000 – $300,000 annually.</p> <p>The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.</p>
