If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p>We’re hiring a <strong><strong class="textBold">Senior Finance Manager, Site Deployments</strong></strong> to build and scale the financial backbone behind Nscale’s global AI compute platform.</p> <p>Reporting to the <strong><strong class="textBold">VP of Finance</strong></strong>, this role sits at the center of <strong><strong class="textBold">Finance Operations</strong></strong> and partners closely with <strong><strong class="textBold">AI Infrastructure, engineering, accounting, and site operations</strong></strong> teams. You will lead financial planning, cost governance, and performance analysis across site deployment and operations, helping the business understand the economics of scaling capital-intensive AI infrastructure.</p> <p>This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility into critical investment and operating decisions. Your work will shape deployment prioritization, capacity planning, capital tracking, and asset utilization strategy by turning complex technical and operational inputs into clear financial insight that drives performance.</p> <h2>What you'll be doing</h2> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Financial Planning &amp; Performance</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Lead</strong></strong> budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting across site deployment and operations.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Own</strong></strong> site-level financial statements, including P&amp;L tracking and performance analysis.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Develop</strong></strong> deployment financial forecasts covering timelines, costs, and capacity ramp.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Build</strong></strong> financial models for site-level performance, capacity utilization, and operating cost trends.</li> <li value="5"><strong><strong class="textBold">Analyze</strong></strong> variances across site operating expenses, deployment costs, and asset-related spend, surfacing key drivers and risks.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Costing &amp; Unit Economics</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Develop</strong></strong> and maintain bill of materials costing for site deployments to improve cost visibility and accuracy.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Refine</strong></strong> site-level unit economics across deployment costs, capacity costs, and ongoing operating expenses.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Identify</strong></strong> cost-efficiency opportunities across deployments, asset utilization, and maintenance activities.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Partner</strong></strong> with engineering and operations teams to understand cost drivers and performance trends.</li> <li value="5"><strong><strong class="textBold">Support</strong></strong> margin improvement and cost optimization initiatives through data-driven analysis.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Deployment Investment Support</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Build</strong></strong> financial models and business cases for site deployments, expansions, and capital investments.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Manage</strong></strong> deployment budgets by tracking actuals versus plan and highlighting risks and variances.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Evaluate</strong></strong> trade-offs across deployment strategies, capacity allocation, and prioritization.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Track</strong></strong> actual performance against investment assumptions, including ROI and payback visibility.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Asset &amp; Capital Management</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Support</strong></strong> capitalization, tracking, and lifecycle management of site-level assets.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Partner</strong></strong> with accounting to ensure accurate asset classification, depreciation, and financial reporting.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Monitor</strong></strong> asset utilization and performance to inform redeployment, optimization, and investment decisions.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Maintain</strong></strong> visibility into capital spend versus budget and support forecasting of future capital requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Cross-Functional Decision Support &amp; Governance</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Partner</strong></strong> with infrastructure, engineering, and site operations teams to support financial decision-making.</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Translate</strong></strong> technical and operational data into clear, actionable financial insights.</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Produce</strong></strong> regular reporting on site-level financial performance, capital spend, deployment progress, and operating costs.</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Establish</strong></strong> cost tracking, asset controls, and governance processes.</li> <li value="5"><strong><strong class="textBold">Ensure</strong></strong> accuracy, transparency, and consistency of financial and operational data across systems and reporting.</li> </ul> <h2>KPIs</h2> <ul> <li value="1">Site utilization</li> <li value="2">Cost per deployed unit</li> <li value="3">Operating cost per site</li> <li value="4">Return on deployed assets</li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">8–12+ years</strong></strong> of experience in FP&amp;A, strategic finance, or supply chain finance roles in high-growth or operationally complex environments.</li> <li value="2">Proven experience leading annual planning and quarterly forecasting cycles and owning financial outcomes across an infrastructure, operations, or cost center P&amp;L.</li> <li value="3">Advanced financial modeling skills, including scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and long-range planning.</li> <li value="4">Strong understanding of supply chain cost drivers such as procurement, freight, warehousing, inventory, and working capital.</li> <li value="5">Experience influencing senior stakeholders across operations, procurement, logistics, infrastructure, or engineering functions.</li> <li value="6">Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and raising the quality and rigor of team output.</li> <li value="7">Strong ability to synthesize large, ambiguous datasets into clear insights and executive-level recommendations.</li> <li value="8">High proficiency in <strong><strong class="textBold">Excel</strong></strong> or <strong><strong class="textBold">Google Sheets</strong></strong>, plus experience with <strong><strong class="textBold">SQL</strong></strong> and data visualization tools such as <strong><strong class="textBold">Tableau, Looker, or Power BI</strong></strong>.</li> <li value="9">Comfortable operating in ambiguity while building scalable processes, frameworks, and financial discipline.</li> <li value="10">Strong communicator with a high bar for accuracy, clarity, ownership, and actionable decision support.</li> </ul> <h2>What we can offer you</h2> <p>At Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact.
