This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial health, clean reporting, and forward-looking visibility. While this role does not require independent business decision-making authority, it does require strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to clearly communicate financial realities and trends to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance function

• Ensure books, records, and financial reports are accurate, complete, and timely

• Maintain strong internal controls and financial processes

• Review and validate accounting entries, reconciliations, and close activities

• Coordinate closely with accounting team members to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and dashboards

• Provide short-term and medium-term financial forecasts and cash flow visibility

• Monitor company financial health and flag risks, inconsistencies, or anomalies

• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and performance tracking

• Act as the primary point of accountability for financial data integrity

• Work cross-functionally to understand operational drivers impacting finances

• Assist leadership with financial insights, scenario analysis, and clarity for decision-making

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of finance fundamentals and accounting principles

• Proven experience managing or overseeing a finance or accounting function

• High attention to detail with strong organizational discipline

• Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear insights

• Comfort working with forecasts, reports, and financial models

• Process-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy and consistency

• Strong communication skills, especially with non-finance stakeholders

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Experience with accounting systems, ERPs, or financial software

• Professional skepticism and ownership mindset toward financial data

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus but not required

• Experience working with growing or multi-entity businesses is a plus

• Exposure to forecasting, cash management, and financial planning
