Do you enjoy working with large datasets, understanding financial processes, reconciling complex transaction flows, and improving recurring tasks through automation?</p> <p>For our Finance team, we are looking for a <strong>Junior Finance Operations Manager (m/f/x)</strong> who brings a solid accounting foundation, strong data affinity, and the motivation to build scalable finance processes in a fast-growing company. This is a great opportunity for someone with first experience in accounting, audit, or finance operations who wants to move beyond classic accounting tasks and grow into a more technical Finance Operations role.</p> <p><strong><br>Who you are</strong></p> <ul> <li>You hold a degree in <strong>Accounting, Finance</strong>, or a closely related field.</li> <li>You bring around <strong>2–3 years of professional experience</strong> in accounting, audit, finance operations, or a similar finance-related role.</li> <li>You have a strong affinity for <strong>large datasets</strong>, reconciliations, payment flows, and structured financial data.</li> <li>You enjoy turning complex data into clear insights, identifying discrepancies, and building scalable solutions instead of relying on manual workarounds.</li> <li>You have strong Excel skills and experience with Looker or similar BI/reporting tools.</li> <li>You have experience with, or a strong motivation to develop further in, Python or similar automation approaches.</li> <li>You are excited about using automation, AI, and digital tools to make finance processes faster, smarter, and more reliable.</li> <li>You have a strong eye for detail, work accurately, and care about data quality and consistency.</li> <li>You are analytical, hands-on, and able to solve problems in a practical way.</li> <li>You enjoy communicating with internal teams and external sellers, especially when helping them understand finance-related data and reports.</li> <li>You are fluent in English; German is a plus.<strong><br><br></strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reconcile and improve Finance Operations processes around payment flows, PSP settlements, seller payouts, seller reporting, and transform them into accounting-ready transaction data.</li> <li>Further develop finance reporting based on payment and transaction data — both for internal accounting purposes and to give sellers better transparency over their payouts and financial data.</li> <li>Analyse discrepancies between PSP data, platform order data, seller reports, and accounting records, identify root causes, and help improve the underlying processes.</li> <li>Automate recurring finance tasks and improve manual workflows using Excel, Looker, Python, AI-supported workflows, or similar tools.</li> <li>Work together with internal teams such as Product, Seller Relations and Accounting, to translate new products and business requirements into scalable finance processes.</li> <li>Support sellers directly with finance-related questions around payouts, reports, transaction data, and reconciliations.</li> <li>Document processes and gradually take on more ownership as you grow into the role.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Additional factors we appreciate</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>e-commerce, online platforms, payment service providers, or consumer goods</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with seller reporting, payment service providers, reconciliations, transaction-based business models, or high-volume financial data.</li> <li>Interest in building your career in a modern Finance Operations role that combines accounting knowledge, data automation, and business understanding.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location &amp; eligibility</strong></p> <p>This role is open to candidates based in <strong>Europe, </strong>with a valid right to work.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>WHY YOU WILL ENJOY WORKING WITH US:</strong></p> <p><strong>Our Culture and Values:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Decisions should be made based on facts and not by hierarchy levels?
