(New York, NY) you’ll: &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Revenue to identify and prioritize key opportunities and unlock incremental revenue into strategic recommendations</li> <li>Utilize knowledge of key product drivers to conduct research, analysis and business modeling to help cross-functional partners make financially sound and growth-focused investment decisions</li> <li>Perform regression analyses on internal data to reach conclusions and support decision making for key business partners</li> <li>Analyze large datasets using data systems, such as Databricks, Looker, Salesforce, and Google Ad Manager, to gather metrics and perform analyses</li> <li>Forecast revenue for key sales channels and run ad hoc investment returns along with customer cohort retention analyses</li> <li>Synthesize key industry trends and tie general macroeconomic activity to business outcomes</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate trade-offs across investment areas and ensure efficient resource allocation</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What You’ll Bring to </strong><strong>The House</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or closely related quantitative discipline.</li> <li>One (1) year of experience in the position offered, as an Analyst/Associate, or closely related position, in the business/banking/finance industry.</li> <li>Must have full term experience in the following: Utilizing data analysis tools to retrieve and analyze financial data for advanced statistical analysis, business forecasting, performance reporting, and decision support; Utilizing data analysis tools to conduct data mining, analysis, manipulation and modeling of data sets; Performing statistical analysis for developing models and validating test designs to optimize business/strategy development; Performing financial analysis and valuation to support new product/service development and initiatives; Analyzing large datasets using Excel and MS Office Suite, to gather metrics and perform analyses; Analyzing customer data to drive future growth and strategies; Utilizing predictive analytics to predict behavior and customize targeting strategies; Utilizing advanced MS Excel Functions, including VBA coding, Pivot Tables, and Power Point, to present project reports and recommendations to leadership teams; and Utilizing data analysis skills to manipulate large data sets to uncover and visualize hidden insights in core data.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Rewards</strong></h4> <p>Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.</p> <p>The starting salary for this role is expected to be: $178,000/year.</p> <p>We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.</p> <p>Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.</p> <p>We have you covered!
