Senior Financial Accounting - IFRS

The Senior Financial Accounting will support clients on technical accounting and financial reporting matters, analysing accounting treatments under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting requirements.

Role description:

• Perform technical accounting research and prepare well-structured analyses on clients’ transactions and operations in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards;

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation for clients;

• Support managers and senior team members on complex accounting engagements and client deliverables;

• Act as a key contributor to the team by guiding and coaching junior staff and supporting their day-to-day development;

• Participate in client meetings and help respond to technical accounting queries in a clear and practical manner;

• Support business development activities, including contributing to proposals and presentations for prospective clients.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

• Approximately 3 years of experience in audit, financial reporting, accounting advisory, or methodology;

• Good working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements;

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical standards into practical solutions;

• Ability to contribute to proposals and other business development efforts;

• Fluent in English (written and spoken);

• ACCA qualification (or progress toward ACCA) is required.
