Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join out team! The role is based in our offices in Kolonos, Athens.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing the monthly and year-end management accounts, annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Analyzing monthly variances of actual against prior months/ budget/ forecast and work closely with key business partners to prepare commentary on profit estimates, focusing on the true drivers of organizational performance
• Support monthly closing processes, including variance analysis and reporting
• Monitor key business indicators and provide insightful commentary on key drivers
• Support Business Plan process be responsible for the coordination, consolidation of data and submission
• Perform financial reporting, forecasting and variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management & Group
• Ensure timely flow of consistent, accurate financial and operating information throughout the Finance department and the management team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Up to 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A (previous experience in Retail industry will be considered an asset)
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g.  Oracle, Power BI)
• Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines
