About the role
Job Summary:
As a Financial Analyst at Creative Chaos, you will be a vital part of the finance team, responsible for analyzing financial data, generating financial reports, and providing insights that drive business decisions. Your analytical skills will directly contribute to the strategic financial planning and overall performance of the company. This role involves developing financial models, conducting comprehensive analyses, and providing strategic recommendations to support company's growth and financial health.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to project revenues, expenses, and cash flows. Analyze financial performance against forecasts and provide actionable insights.
Budgeting and Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Monitor budget adherence and recommend adjustments as necessary.
Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and financial trends.
Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including content development and strategic partnerships, by conducting thorough financial analyses and risk assessments.
Cost Management: Analyze operational costs and identify areas for efficiency improvements without compromising content quality.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure financial practices comply with industry regulations and company policies. Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the media or entertainment industry
- Proficient in financial modeling, PowerBI and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance.
- Certifications such as CFA is preferred.
