<p>Reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and general accounting duties along with ad hoc reporting. This is a full-time exempt position.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare account analysis and reconciliations of prepaid expenses, other current assets and expense accruals.</li>
<li>Establish consistency of fixed assets and prepare roll forward schedules.</li>
<li>Review and reconcile intercompany activity and prepare journal entries that net the balances to zero.</li>
<li>Prepare, consolidate and analyze Selling, General and Administrative expenses.</li>
<li>Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including recording of depreciation of fixed assets and amortization of intangibles.</li>
<li>Prepare job costing analysis.</li>
<li>Implement a process for updating inventory on regular basis and record the activity to the ledger.</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.</li>
<li> Ensure accounting is in accordance with GAAP and that accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with laws and regulations.</li>
<li>Support outside audits.</li>
<li>Ad hoc projects, as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop and online) is preferred.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.</li>
<li>Public Accounting experience a plus.</li>
<li>Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>
<li>Proficient use of financial consolidation software.</li>
<li>Strong communication and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.</li>
<li>Strong Excel skills; experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Some light travel to other Groome locations outside NJ.</li>
</ul>
