Financial Analyst

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The role</span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">As Financial Analyst, you will be a key player in Pipe's Finance team, operating in a hybrid Capital Markets and Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) role to scale the funding sources for Pipe and ensure continued financial discipline. You will support the company's funding strategy by preparing marketing materials, work closely with investors and lenders, and manage the operations and reporting of our funding sources. You will drive business performance by developing financial models, track operating expenses (OpEx), and measure performance against strategic goals. You should be comfortable with all aspects of financial and data analysis as well as provide concise written and oral summaries of your findings to stakeholders across the organization, including C-Suite leadership. You should be AI-native, and leverage all the tools at your disposal to improve efficiency and quality.</span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage relationships with new and existing investors and lenders</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and maintain robust financial and operating models to support strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Track and analyze operating expenses, key financial metrics, and strategic goals, and provide detailed analysis and commentary on performance-to-plan</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support operational needs for existing funding deals, including cash management and allocation of originations to facilities</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Produce periodic reporting and monitor facilities, including develop requirements for automation to improve efficiencies and reduce operational and forecast financial risk</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Analyze and manage allocation of assets across multiple funding channels to optimize funding efficiency and liquidity availability</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support short-term liquidity forecasting and monitoring to ensure adequate funding availability across funding facilities and corporate treasury accounts</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support treasury operations including liquidity management, cash positioning, and coordinate fund movements between corporate accounts, funding facilities, and partner payment flows</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage and validate funding data pipelines including funding tapes, facility eligibility datasets, and reconciliation of asset-level data used in reporting and borrowing base calculations</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with Product, Underwriting/Risk, Finance, Engineering, and Legal to maintain and improve funding program design, data pipelines, and operational workflows supporting capital markets and FP&amp;A processes</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">What We Value</span></h2> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">2+ years of investment banking or fixed income sales/trading/structuring (or similar), ideally in structured finance or securitization teams</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working in an autonomous, fast-paced environment with a track record of manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience produce excellent reporting</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Consistent track record of attention to detail, ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and take ownership of your work</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Consistent and novel use of AI tools to advance the Finance discipline</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Given we are a fully remote company, we value a high level of independence and maturity in all of our team members</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Qualifications</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor's degree</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in Excel and AI tools</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Commercial approach to structure, market, and sell financial products</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Good working knowledge of Looker, SQL, or similar</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong organizational and prioritization skills</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions</span></li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Compensation and Benefits</span></h2> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We believe in taking care of our employees. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Pipe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.</span></p>
