As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.</span></p></div><p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>Revolution Medicines is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst/Finance Manager to support our growing needs in Development and R&amp;D Finance. The successful candidate will have experience with clinical trials, R&amp;D accruals process, month-end close, financial reporting, SOX, and audit support. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Reporting to the Associate Director, FP&amp;A and will serve as a business partner to Clinical Operations and cross-functional partner to Accounting, Finance, and Procurement.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare month-end clinical trial accruals, including review of CRO reports, patient costs, and site payments.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations for accrued clinical and related prepaid accounts.</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to Identify, design, and implement process improvements to streamline clinical trial accruals, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy and timeliness.</p> </li> <li> <p>Review contracts and amendments to analyze and determine impact on clinical accruals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare contract analysis to assess new contracts against existing budget.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work with external CROs and vendors to ensure that expenses are accurately accounted for.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure and maintain proper documentation and internal controls around clinical trial accruals for SOX compliance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with the accounting team to support monthly and quarterly close activities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support the annual audit and quarterly reviews through preparation of audit schedules and other documentation as requested by external auditors.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform variance analysis of actuals versus budget, investigate and explain key discrepancies, and identify underlying business drivers.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare actuals vs budget dashboard monthly to provide financial visibility to business partners.</p> </li> <li> <p>Review purchase requests against budgeted amount and account coding.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills, Experience and Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.</p> </li> <li> <p>4+ years’ experience in a similar role in biotechnology industry.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in reviewing clinical contracts (i.e. CRO contracts, Site contracts, protocols, etc.).</p> </li> <li> <p>Highly proficient in Excel and strong attention to detail.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prior ERP and financial systems experience: Netsuite, etc.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong work ethic and ability to adjust workload based on changing priorities.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>CPA or MBA.</p> </li> <li> <p>Biotech or Big 4 Accounting experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prior experience with clinical trial accruals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Adaptive Planning (Office Connect) experience a plus.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coupa experience a plus.&nbsp;</p> <p class="p1"><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">#LI-Hybrid&nbsp; #LI-YG1</span></p> </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below.
