About the role

Eram Talent is seeking a highly experienced Lead Financial Control Analyst with a strong background in Big 4 consulting firms. This role involves leading financial control activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to support business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional business units to maintain robust financial controls and improved financial reporting processes.

The Lead Financial Control Analyst will oversee the identification and mitigation of financial risks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

If selected, the work location would be onsite at Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage financial control processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to optimize financial reporting and compliance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Provide strategic analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial controls and reporting.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • The candidate should hold a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, as well as any relevant advance professional competencies evidenced by professional certification such as a CPA, CA, or CFA. An MBA or other post graduate degree is desirable.
  • of experience in finance as a Financial Controller or CFO and/or experience in a large Consulting firm related to finance set-up/integration activities (e.g. ‘Big 4’ consulting firm)
  • Experience in a range of industries and companies.
  • Broad operational finance experience which includes the below activities:
    o   Finance business partnering;
    o   Management reporting;
    o   Management or design of core end to end processes (record to report, request to pay, order to cash);
    o   Financial reporting;
    o   Planning, budgeting and forecasting;
    o   Financial governance and controls
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with senior management and external auditors.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
