The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control, driving process optimization, and supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality reporting and insights. You will partner closely with U.S.-based Corporate Accounting and FP&amp;A teams, gaining strong international exposure while influencing financial performance and governance across regions.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Accounting &amp; Financial Control</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting across all SSW entities, with primary responsibility for the UK entity</li> <li>Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting aligned with UK statutory requirements</li> <li>Prepare and review consolidated management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements</li> </ul> <p><strong>International &amp; Multi-Entity Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee multi-entity accounting across UK, HK, India, Germany, and France</li> <li>Manage and review outputs from international third-party accounting providers, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality of reporting</li> <li>Drive standardization of processes across jurisdictions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Audit, Tax &amp; Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead UK statutory audits end-to-end and act as the primary point of contact for auditors</li> <li>Oversee tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax, in collaboration with local advisors</li> <li>Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and adherence to accounting policies</li> </ul> <p><strong>Business Partnering &amp; Stakeholder Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with U.S. Corporate Controller and FP&amp;A teams to - <ul> <li>Analyze financial performance</li> <li>Explain variances against budget and forecast</li> <li>Support planning and decision-making</li> </ul> </li> <li>Present financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Systems &amp; Process Transformation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Play a key role in the implementation of a new global billing system, ensuring: <ul> <li>Accurate invoice creation</li> <li>Appropriate revenue recognition (IFRS 15)</li> <li>VAT and AR process alignment</li> </ul> </li> <li>Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control</li> <li>Maintain and improve financial systems including Sage 50 and other ERP platforms</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop a UK-based accounting team (5 members)</li> <li>Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Coach and mentor team members to support their professional development</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cash Flow &amp; Treasury</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own short- and long-term cash flow forecasting</li> <li>Support working capital management and liquidity planning</li> <li>Partner with leadership on funding and financial planning requirements</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div> <ul> <li>A hands-on, detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, global environment</li> <li>Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and at a detailed level</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>A collaborative leader who can influence across Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations</li> <li>A proactive problem-solver who continuously seeks to improve processes and systems</li> <li>Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)</li> <li>Proven experience in multi-entity and international accounting environments</li> <li>Strong ownership of: <ul> <li>Statutory reporting</li> <li>Audit management</li> <li>Month-end close</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <div> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience across AP/AR, billing, cash management, and tax compliance</li> <li>Strong financial systems expertise (Sage, ERP systems, and reporting tools)</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills</li> </ul> </div> </div> <p>&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Why Join US</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to work in a&nbsp;truly global, multi-entity finance environment</li> <li>Strong exposure to&nbsp;U.S. leadership and international stakeholders</li> <li>Play a key role in&nbsp;finance transformation and system implementation initiatives</li> <li>Join a growing organization with strong emphasis on collaboration, development, and impact</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> <p><strong>Annual Salary Range: £100,000- £125,000</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>This role is a Hybrid role and will require onsite days a few days a month.&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>In return, you will work for a supportive, employee-focused organization that encourages staff to achieve a work-life balance, teamwork, and communication on a global scale with other offices.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>#LI-HYBRID</strong></p>
