<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About The Role</strong></p> <p>You will own financial reporting, treasury management (fiat &amp; crypto), sponsorship revenue oversight, and finance systems integrity. This role sits at the core of the business — ensuring liquidity stability, audit readiness, and strong financial governance in a fast-moving environment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Audit</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own monthly close and management reporting (P&amp;L, BS, cashflow)</li> <li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure ledger integrity</li> <li>Drive variance analysis against budget</li> <li>Manage external audits and tax filings</li> <li>Ensure revenue recognition aligns with accounting policies</li> </ul> <p><strong>Treasury &amp; Liquidity (Critical Function)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts</li> <li>Manage short-term liquidity forecasting (payroll, vendors, event spend)</li> <li>Oversee payment approvals with strong internal controls</li> <li>Execute FX conversions and manage banking relationships</li> <li>Support regulatory and compliance requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Digital Assets &amp; Crypto Oversight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee custody accounts (e.g. Coinbase, Anchorage)</li> <li>Reconcile on-chain transactions with accounting records</li> <li>Coordinate fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat movements</li> <li>Ensure secure and compliant digital asset workflows</li> </ul> <p><strong>Sponsorship Revenue Control</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee contract-to-invoice accuracy</li> <li>Monitor collections and aging schedules</li> <li>Reconcile fiat and crypto settlements</li> <li>Track high-value receivables to support treasury forecasting</li> </ul> <p><strong>Systems Ownership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain integrity across Xero (GL), crypto subledgers, and revenue systems</li> <li>Improve reconciliation automation and documentation</li> <li>Strengthen process controls and reduce key-person risk</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>8–10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2-3 years in-house/startup commercial experience in Web3 or fintech</li> <li>Big 4 background - qualified CPA holder</li> <li>Proficiency in English is a MUST; Fluency in Cantonese will be a PLUS</li> <li>Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills</li> <li>Experience managing treasury and multi-currency operations</li> <li>Comfortable working with digital assets or crypto environments</li> <li>Experience in startups, events, or high-growth environments preferred</li> <li>Highly structured, detail-oriented, and hands-on</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why Join TOKEN2049</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate at the forefront of Web3 and digital assets</li> <li>Work on global events with significant financial scale</li> <li>High ownership and executive exposure</li> <li>Opportunity to professionalize and build finance infrastructure</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Start Date: Immediate</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Hong Kong</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
