In This Role, You Will

As a Financial Reporting Expert at DFDS, you will support financial and management reporting processes by ensuring accurate and timely reporting, contributing to financial analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reporting processes and timely delivery

  • Analyse monthly financial results by reviewing financial and operational performance, revenue and cost drivers, and variances versus budget and forecast

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial analyses

  • Perform detailed P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analyses

  • Support independent audit processes and coordinate with external auditors when required

  • Assist in ensuring the consistency and integrity of month-end and year-end closing outputs

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting outputs and dashboards

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes and analytical reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a reliable finance business partner for reporting-related matters

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics)

  • Minimum 4 years of total professional experience, including at least 2 years of audit experience in a Big 4 audit company

  • CPA license or currently in the CPA licensure process is preferred

  • Knowledge of IFRS-compliant financial statements and reporting processes

  • Strong accounting, reporting, and financial analysis skills

  • Experience in General Ledger analysis and reporting

  • Good command of English (written and verbal)

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP is considered an asset

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to coordinate data from different departments and support reporting and audit processes in a timely and accurate manner
