About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the gym, locker rooms, and equipment remain clean, functional, and well-organized. Manage inventory for supplies (like towels and cleaning materials) and promptly report any damages or maintenance needs.
- Provide a welcoming, positive, and motivating environment. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, personalizing their experience, and resolving any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Guide members through safe equipment use, demonstrate proper exercise techniques, and promote the facility's wellness programs. Assist members in setting, tracking, and adjusting their personal fitness goals to keep them motivated.
- Enforce gym policies and safety protocols to ensure a secure and respectful environment. Monitor for hazards and immediately report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Indonesian citizen
- Previous experience in a fitness or wellness-related role
- Has knowledge about fitness equipment, wellness programs, and exercise techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and assist guests and members.
- A passion for fitness, wellness, and customer service.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Able to communicate in English and Indonesian language
