Fitness Instructor Mandarin Speaking for MSC Cruises

Key Responsibilities

• In a professional, persuasive and friendly way, encourage guests to buy SPA and Fitness services and products. 
•  Manage the day-to-day operation of the Fitness area with initiative and creativity. 
•  Be on duty seven days each week, at hours advised by the SPA Manager. (Hours will vary according to itinerary). 
•  Be on duty always at least 10 minutes before the advertised opening time of the SPA & Fitness area to allow you to make a quick check of the premises before doors are open for business. 
•  In home ports (or any other port), be available to assist with the loading of merchandise, and distribution to storage areas or SPA & Fitness area. 
•  When the SPA & Fitness area are closed, cooperate with colleagues in the following duties:
•  Stock control 
•  SPA & Fitness arrangements 
•  Window decoration 
•  Possess a complete understanding of all merchandise sold in the SPA. 
•  Exercise extreme care with all articles for sale in the SPA & Fitness area. 
•  Compliant with all Health & Safety regulations within the SPA & Fitness area. 

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Fluency in English: You must be fluent in both written and spoken English to ensure effective communication with guests and team members. 
• Experience: A minimum of one year’s proven experience in a similar position, preferably on board a cruise ship or in a similar hospitality environment. 
• Relevant Certifications: Level 3 qualification in Personal & Group Training is essential. 
• Passion for Fitness: You must be passionate about health and wellness and have the drive to inspire others to live healthier lifestyles. 
• Customer-Centered Approach: Ability to tailor your classes and coaching to different guest needs, from beginners to seasoned fitness enthusiasts.
