You'll be joining a team powered by Takealot Group's core values.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>This position reports to the :Operations Manager</strong></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities can include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all fleet vehicles are regularly inspected, maintained, and compliant with national road safety standards and regulations&nbsp;</li> <li>Enforce a comprehensive vehicle inspection program, covering pre-trip and post-trip inspections</li> <li>Oversee the day-to-day management of the fleet, including vehicle allocation, tracking, and maintenance schedules</li> <li>Track and manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service records to ensure minimal downtime and optimal vehicle performance</li> <li>Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures</li> <li>training, monitoring, and performance evaluation to enhance driver safety and efficiency.</li> <li>It is required of you to work until your daily responsibilities are completed, which might result in you working longer than normally</li> <li>Capturing of delivery teams hours and ensure accruals are sent on to management</li> <li>Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by optimizing fleet operations, including fuel management, route planning, and vehicle utilization&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage daily staff and overtime efficiently to ensure labour cost is controlled</li> <li>Extracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.</li> <li>All administrative documentation is labelled and filed as per procedures.</li> <li>All daily, weekly and monthly reports/ meeting minutes are up to date&nbsp;</li> <li>KPI reports sent out timeously daily and are posted on notice boards</li> <li>Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are implemented and maintained</li> <li>Implement and maintain health and safety standards</li> <li>Ensure the team complies to COVID19 protocols</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of Grade 12</li> <li>Tertiary qualification preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>Attributes required :</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership capabilities</li> <li>Effective decision making&nbsp;</li> <li>Problem Solving abilities</li> <li>Good communication skill</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>Attributes Required</strong>:</p> <p><strong>Why Join TFS:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Purpose-driven impact</strong>: Transform lives through logistics innovation</li> <li><strong>Advanced technology: </strong>Work with cutting-edge systems in a fast-paced environment</li> <li><strong>Career growth: </strong>Thrive in an agile space that champions continuous improvement</li> <li><strong>Inclusive culture</strong>: Your unique perspective drives extraordinary results</li> </ul> <p>At TFS, your growth is our growth.
