About the role

Primary Purpose

To assist in the overall Department of Transportation (DOT) component of driver compliance, administration and audit as well as safety training of personnel to assure compliance and safety awareness for Mountaire. To reduce vehicle accidents and improve overall Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) scores. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. DOT compliance such as driver compliance, administration, auditing etc.
  2. Driver Safety training.
  3. Driver ride-along and roadside observations.
  4. Commercial vehicle inspections.
  5. Accident investigations.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of professional work experience supporting a Transportation department with focus on DOT compliance.
  • Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), DOT Hours of Service (HOS), On-Boarding computer training, Driver training.
