Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><h4><strong>Flight Software Engineer</strong></h4> <div>As our Flight Software Engineer, you will support the the development, execution, and implementation of the flight software that commands and monitors the spacecraft.</div> <div>Additionally, you will connect with other teams to ensure that the software you've implemented works on their hardware.</div> <div class="section page-centered"> <div> <h4>Role&nbsp;</h4> <ul> <li>Implement spacecraft avionics software</li> <li>Implement ground control and telemetry software</li> <li>Implement software for automated testing at component, functional and system levels, including HITL (Hardware in the Loop) testing</li> <li>Implement low level software to interface with various spacecraft components</li> <li>Implement/troubleshoot/improve real time operating system components</li> <li>Support in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="section page-centered"> <h4>Requirements</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in CS, EE (or equivalent background knowledge)</li> <li>A passion for building things, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development</li> <li>Experience with C and/or C++</li> <li>Experience with Linux and shell command line tools</li> <li>Don't meet them all?
