Mobius is seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Analyst.&nbsp;In this role, you will serve as an Advisory and Assistance Services contractor providing programmatic, technical, analytical and execution support to MDA’s Director of Flight Test (DTF) as they integrate the Space Based Interceptor (SBI) into MDA’s flight test program. DTF has overall responsibility for pre-mission activities, element integration, mission management and execution of all MDA flight tests.</p> <p>Our MDA analysts and engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities in Huntsville, Alabama, otherwise known as “Rocket City.”&nbsp; Huntsville is the hub of missile and space research and development.&nbsp; You will collaborate with other missile defense experts – military, government civilians, and contractors from Mobius and other companies.&nbsp; Our team of experts helps the Government manage planning, development, analysis and delivery of state-of-the art sensors, weapons, communications, and command/control systems. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Al.</p> <p>Duties of a Flight Test Analyst may include:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Perform pre-mission target and interceptor trajectory generation and optimization</li> <li>Perform pre-mission quantitative safety and risk analyses to ensure tests can be conducted safely in accordance with Range Commanders Council safety standards</li> <li>Support Range Safety Working Group meeting and activities to include tracking action items, data delivery schedules, and analysis schedules</li> <li>Assist with pre-mission telemetry link and radar assessments to ensure flight test architecture meets data collection requirements</li> <li>Assist senior team members in conducting COLA (collision avoidance) assessments for day of flight execution</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, performance and testing</li> <li>Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, and/or other programming languages</li> <li>Basic understanding of Orbital Mechanics and Physics</li> <li>Knowledge of RF Engineering and Communication design and processing</li> <li>Knowledge of Range Commander’s Council Standards</li> <li>Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and assist in solving complex problems involving test planning, integration, execution, and analysis.</li> <li>No direct experience required</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li> </ul> <p><em>Education&nbsp;</em></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS in a technical field pertinent to the position being filled. 5 years relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement</li> </ul> <p><em>Clearance&nbsp;</em></p> <ul> <li>Active Secret or higher clearance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Mobius Benefits: </strong>Mobius offers a stable work environment, a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental and vision plans, 401k Plan, Flexible Work Schedules, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Leave and much more.</p> <p><em><strong>Mobius is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
