Performs a wide variety of simple serving and cleaning tasks under general supervision. Performance is evaluated on compliance with instructions, accepted serving practices, customer service skills, and sanitary requirements.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Performs a wide variety of manual tasks in kitchen or dining area according to established procedures.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Serves food on serving lines in accordance with required serving portions.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Replaces glassware, dishes and silverware and refills condiment containers.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Wipes and washes tables and countertops.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Cleans work area, removes garbage, mops floors, washes walls, windows and tables. Maintains cleanliness in restrooms and the exterior of building.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Mixes washing solutions and operates electric dish washing machine; loading and unloading, and/or washes dishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand. Maintains cleanliness of dishwasher and dish washing area.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Makes coffee in urns, replaces soda and milk supplies.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Ensures proper sanitization and cleaning processes and procedures are followed.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• Always complies with all safety procedures.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">• All other tasks as assigned</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of high school, vocational school or equivalent.</li> <li>6+ months of job-related experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, or comparable food service establishment preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p> <p style="text-align: left;">Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry a minimum of 30lbs., as needed. Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, twist, and extend, for entire shift.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p> <p style="text-align: left;">Employee is often exposed to wet/or humid conditions and extreme heat usually in excess of 90 degrees.&nbsp; The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
