Food Stores Stock Controller / Food Stores Receiver / Food Stores Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Stores Leader to oversee our inventory operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our stock, maintaining rigorous hygiene standards, and leading a team of store attendants to support our culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, and proactively manage chill boxes and freezers to minimize spoilage using first-in, first-out (FIFO) rotation.
• Conduct regular spot checks and reconcile physical stock with digital records.
• Prepare weekly market and purchase lists, and conduct price comparisons to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Delegate duties to store attendants, conduct pre-shift meetings, and oversee the preparation of high-standard guest fruit baskets.
• Maintain strict temperature logs for all refrigeration units, and enforce cleaning schedules for storage areas and crates.
• Ensure all requisitions are properly signed and authorized, while maintaining up-to-date bin cards and organized filing systems.
• Prepare monthly reports on slow-moving items, assist with periodic full-stock counts, and perform any other duties required to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
