Role Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, demoing, negotiating, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Lead Generation: Identify potential customers, develop relationships, and qualify leads through outbound efforts and partnership with marketing.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Act as a trusted advisor to potential clients, understanding their pain points, and aligning Codified’s solutions to their needs.
- Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with leadership to develop sales strategies and improve our go-to-market approach.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.
- Market Feedback: To ensure continuous improvement and innovation, provide market feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create a seamless customer journey and ensure a smooth handoff post-sale.
- Sales Process Optimization: Implement sales processes and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Sales Expertise: 3-5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in a startup environment. Experience in selling data or tech solutions is a plus.
- Go-Getter: Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate in ambiguity and take initiative.
- Results-Oriented: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical buyers.
- Consultative Selling: Ability to deeply understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaboration: A team player who can work across functions and with the CEO to drive outcomes.
- Customer Obsessed: A passion for building long-term relationships with customers and helping them succeed.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working at an early-stage startup.
- Experience in selling solutions related to data governance, analytics, or SaaS platforms.
